Grizzlies leaving their imprint in the BCS ranks.

Lately, the newest gateway to the Bowl Championship Series level is off of the cross streets of Cornelia and Dakota Avenues in Fresno - Central High School.

Since the 2011 graduating class, nine Grizzlies have now committed to a BCS level school. The newest commit is big 6-foot-3, 290-pound space eater Shariff Williams. The nose tackle/guard committed to Arizona on July 28.

Here's the former Grizzly standouts playing or getting ready for the BCS level:

CLASS OF 2011

Brendon Bigelow, wide receiver/kick returner, California
B.J. Kelley, wide receiver, Oregon

CLASS OF 2013

L.J. Moore,defensive back, Oklahoma
Hatari Byrd, safety, Oklahoma
Johnny Johnson, defensive back, UCLA

CLASS OF 2014

Tashon Smallwood, defensive tackle/end, USC
Nick Wilson, running back, Arizona
Devon Brewer, safety, Arizona
Shariff Williams, nose tackle/offensive guard, Arizona

If you think Central is done there, there's still other ex-Grizzlies who can add to the above list:

Michiah Quick (photo), a five-star athlete prospect according to scout.com and Rivals, is still uncommitted and has several PAC-12 offers, plus some from the Southeastern Conference. Wide receiver Louis Norris has Arizona State and Cal interested.

There's also the upcoming 2015 class, which can potentially be headlined by athlete Savion Simms and versatile defensive back Jovonte Page, both of whom became standouts at different passing tournaments over the spring and summer.
