Hornet hitman

Time to dive into the junior college realm in California. At Fullerton College, looks like the Hornets will have one of the hardest hitters in the state in Corey Ferguson.

Teams may have to think twice when attempting a swing pass on Ferguson's side. The 5-foot-11, 190-pound cornerback will find the football, then arrive in a bad mood. Ferguson delivers the kind of hits where it looks like a head-on car crash.

A four-year school seeking aggression in the secondary should love Ferguson's style of play.  Along with his physical nature, he has enough speed to cover wide receivers on deep routes.

He'll need to show he's a true ball-hawk in the secondary this upcoming year to prove he's the complete package at cornerback. He made just three interceptions last season. However, South Alabama became the first to offer recently and this big hitter could land more between now and the end of the 2013 season.
